Make It Shine Day was held in Beech Bottom on April 14.  Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who helped with this activity.  The volunteers were able to cover more area this year with less refuse being collected, which is good!  Pampas grass was planted along the tree line of southern Park Avenue as well as pines above Hill Street Playground.  On this same day the recycling program kicked off, white pine seedlings were distributed for Arbor Day and our solar panel contractor was here with an informational display.  Beech Bottom has been selected a Make It Shine Community in 2009, 2010, and 2011.  The efforts of these volunteers will help the Village to win this award for 2012 also.
