The Village of Beech Bottom is located in Northern West Virginia in Brooke County. It sits along West Virginia State Route 2 and the Ohio River, occupying an area of about .8 square miles. Closely neighboring the Village are many other towns, cities, and even larger metropolitan areas.
				The communities nearest to Beech Bottom (within an approximate 10 mile driving distance) are: Windsor Heights, WV (3.2 miles SW) Short Creek, WV (3.25 miles SW) Wellsburg, WV (4.2 miles NE) Clearview, WV (7.26 miles SW) Follansbee, WV (8.25 miles NE) Warwood, WV (8.41 miles SW) West Liberty, WV (10.1 miles SE) Also very near to us are some more widely-known cities like: Steubenville, OH (12.55 miles NE) Wheeling, WV (12.7 miles SW) Weirton, WV (15.12 miles NE) Martins Ferry, OH (15.35 miles SW) The nearest city with a population of over 50,000 is: Pittsburgh, PA (48.7 miles NE, population 334,563).
				Since our village is located right along West Virginia State Route 2, it is quite convenient and easy to get to us, no matter which direction you are coming from. Many of the neighboring communities and cities listed above are also located right along or just off of Route 2, so it’s also very convenient and easy for our residents to get to where they need to go.
